What is a responsive website

A responsive website is one that's built once but adapts fluidly to every device it's viewed on. From desktop to tablet, right through to smaller devices, like mobile phone.

There are a few good reasons for throwing away your old static website and setting up a responsive one.
  • Over 60 percent of search queries (globally) now come from mobile devices
  • People are more likely to buy a product or service from a website that is mobile friendly
  • Around 60% of people won't stay on your website if it's not responsive
  • They are more effective and load quicker
  • Google loves them, so much so that Google has started to rank mobile-friendly websites above non-mobile as of this year, 2018.

By having an old static website you are sending out the wrong message to your potential customers. If you can't keep your website up to date, with prices, opening times or even the odd facelift from time to time, why would they hire you, isn't a website a reflection of you and your business?

The answer is yes. So create the right impression and show people what you are made of.
